Lactoferrin is an important protein found naturally in human and cow’s milk. It’s a natural component of our immune defence system.
70% of the cells that make up the immune system are found in the gut. When consumed, lactoferrin interacts with these intestinal immune cells residing in the gastrointestinal tract and prevents the growth of bacteria, depriving them of essential nutrients, killing bacteria by destroying their cell.
Bovilove Lactoferrin can be consumed by infants, children, adolescents, iron-deficiency anemia and immunocompromised people, to improve resistance growth of pathogenic bacteria and fungi via binding of iron and making it unavailable for microbial growth.
Bovilove Lactoferrin is an addition to the Bovilove range of goat's milk products.
